Some of you might recall how SmithCale and I celebrated our new family member by going to Fresh (by Brookshires) in Tyler on the way home.
We were literally blown away by this place; specifically the meat and produce selection.
The challenge was to create a menu based off the ingredients we bought that we really wanted to try; Challenge accepted.
Even better caveat; we only spent $55.44.
Preview of what I'll be using tonight for Meatless Monday. (When SmithCale insists we spend $13.99 for goat cheese in olive oil, it is suggested you make it the star)
Also, we started to notice that we were grabbing mainly purple veggies. In honor of our ACU grads this Saturday we shall eat purple all week!
