So, Friday. Usually my favorite day, and really even all that happened didn't ruin it (barely anything ruins my day).
Started driving to work. Everything is the same, and then my radio just dies. Stops working. No clock. Nothing.
I have an hour and some change commute, and the first thing i think is, "Oh no, there is no way I'm driving that far in silence."
Did I think something was really wrong with my car? No, of course not, the eternal optimist in me never does, I just thought my radio died.
So luckily I was close enough to Cale's work to switch vehicles with him and I headed on my way. Instead of just driving home at the end of the day, I drove back to Cale's work knowing that probably my car wouldn't start since I had an inkling for a while that my battery was going.
Let me say just a few words about my battery. It was the FACTORY battery. My car is a 2005. I almost got SIX YEARS out of my original battery. Way to go Ford.
Anyway, we had to jump my car thanks to a gracious lady in the parking lot that had jumper cables. We drove around to Auto Zone where the man was smart enough to check my alternator.
Yeah, I'm going to need a new one of those too. And, as luck would have it, it is a special order part that alone will cost $200. Great, awesome and cowabunga.
I called our local Ford House and these two sweet men waited for us to bring my Focus back for some refocusing.
Needless to say after this ordeal, and for the first time in two weeks; we ate out.
After hours of disappointment and a hectic week, this is what happens:

But really I was pretty excited to eat at our favorite local Mexican food place, El Sombrero!

Any chance SmithCale gets to eat anything he's happy.

All my friends came.

I had my one (of many) vices: Huevos Rancheros!
Refried beans and Rice count as veggies, right?

I have to admit the force is strong with SmithCale, I think he ordered healthier than I did. Pollo Ranchero he did eat.
