Weekly Menu Inspirations: New Year, New Possibilites

*Sigh*, this time of year excites me and saddens me all at the same time. Not because Christmas season has come to an end, but because I work so hard all year that I'm a little disappointed I have to do it all over again.

This past year:
  • I gave up soda, aspartame and most high fructose corn syrup.
  • Completed P90X, and still continue to do at least 2-3 of the workouts a week (mixed in with my other workouts).
  • Took my first plane ride. Then took 5 more.
  • Visited for the first time Virginia and California
  • Learned how to be a better cook and meal planner
Although this year has been positive in many ways, in other personal ways it has been the most trying.

Seeing this year go will be bittersweet, but necessary.

This year I hope to:
  • Continue trying and sharing new recipes
  • Inspire more people to care about their precious health
  • Gather wisdom
  • Listen
  • Strengthen my faith and continue to be grateful for my work and work ethic
